Superstar Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone starrer upcoming 3D high-tech flick “Kochadaiyaan”, which was earlier slated to hit the screens for Diwali bonanza, but now postponed due to Superstar Rajinikanth decided to postpone his movie Kochadaiyaan release to avoid the clash with Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgan movies. Because Kochadayaan is all set to release after canned Two years schedules so the expectations are high if two massive heroes clash on the same day surely come shortage of theaters as well as affect the business and the makers planned to release Kochadaiyaan on 150 theaters in Mumbai so he decided to release his movie after few weeks.

Kochadaiyaan is being directed by debutant Soundarya R Ashwin that is canned using Picture Capture Technology. The makers are busy with the post productions works of Kochadaiyaan and AR Rahman is scoring the music.
