Eega (Naan Ee in Tamil) is an upcoming Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual socio-fantasy film written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The Telugu version of the film is being produced by Sai Korapati under Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram banner and the Tamil version of the film is being produced by PVP Cinemas. The film stars Sudeep, Samantha and Nani in lead roles. The Telugu version will be dubbed in Malayalam as Eecha and will be released at the same time as the Telugu & Tamil versions .The film earned U/A certificate at censor. The film is scheduled to be released on July 6, 2012 with over 1200 printsThe film was launched in 2010. Nani and Samantha play the lead role with Sudeep portraying a negative role. It is being made with a whopping budget of  26 crore (US$5.19 million), a major share of  7 crore (US$1.4 million) was spent on special effects.M. M. Keeravani composed the film's music while K. K. Senthil Kumar handled cinematography and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao helmed the film's editing. Senthil Kumar, who earlier worked for Magadheera, Yamadonga, etc. with Rajamouli is being roped in as cameraman for this movie. The unit is using a Scorpio Crane for the first time in the history of Telugu cinema. Sai Korrapati is producing the movie while Daggubati Suresh Babu is presenting it. Climax has been shot at Ramanaidu studios. Senthilkumar. Although the movie was initially planned to be released in April 2012 but due to extensive CGI and VFX work the film is delayed until May 2012.S. S. Rajamouli announced on his twitter account that the release date for the movie will be 30th May, 2012.Distribution rights has been sold to 34 crores. The film will be released in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam also. Release of the film is again postponed from 22 june because the unit is striving 24/7 for the quality of CG. The movie will be released on July 6, 2012.Movie is censored on 26th and Rated U/A by Censor Team. The satellite rights of the flick were bought for a price of about  5.5 crore (US$1.1 million). This film might give Sudeep a popularity in the Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam film industries.The soundtrack of the film was composed by M. M. Keeravani. Soundtrack for all the films directed by Rajamouli were composed by Keeravani. The audio was released on March 30, 2012 at Brahama Kumari's Academy in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The audio is released through Vel Records, owned by M. M. Keeravani. Ramajogayya Sastry, Anantha Sreeram, Chaitanya Prasad and Keeravani penned one song each in the album
